COE renewal — questions
What is the difference between a 5-year and a 10-year COE renewal?
A 10-year renewal pays the full Prevailing Quota Premium (PQP) and can be renewed again later. A 5-year renewal pays half the PQP but the car cannot be renewed again at the end of it. Our lenders quote both.
Which categories can be renewed?
Cat A, B, C and D. A Cat E vehicle renews under the category it actually belongs to.
What is the PQP?
The Prevailing Quota Premium is the moving average of recent COE prices in your category, published monthly by LTA. It is what you pay to renew. The app pulls the current PQP for you.
Do I pay Autowash24?
No. You choose a lender's offer in the app and the loan is between you and that lender. Autowash24 arranges the introduction.
Are the rates shown on this page?
Lenders quote inside the app once they know your car and the term you want, so the offers you see are real for your car, not an advertised headline rate.
